Responsibilities
- Own system-level architecture and software design for features spanning multiple engineering teams.
- Develop an AI-first ecosystem for the organization.
- Conduct technology selection analysis and present findings to stakeholders.
- Build high-quality, scalable services using advanced machine learning models.
- Design and operationalize data pipelines on AWS.
- Collaborate with product managers to shape product definitions.
- Define and drive adoption of coding standards and software development processes.
- Improve software and data quality through better measuring and testing methods.
- Engage in technical roadmap and architecture vision discussions.
- Mentor and coach technical staff and contribute to talent growth.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Search, Recommendation, or Information Retrieval.
- 15+ years of experience in full-stack software architecture and development.
- Experience with LLM, RAG, and Gen-AI technologies is a plus.
- Proven ability to design and develop scalable production services.
- Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to decompose complex problems and communicate solutions clearly.
- Experience with cloud-based architectures and deployment.
- Data-driven approach with a focus on results and outcomes.
- Empathy for customers and a passion for exceeding their expectations.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
