Base Salary

$170k - $250k/yr

Responsibilities

Design and implement high-performance backend services and APIs for financial applications.
Build and maintain systems for trading, settlement, and asset custody (fiat and crypto).
Integrate with blockchain networks (e.g., Ethereum, Bitcoin) and third-party financial APIs.
Ensure system reliability, security, and scalability under high-throughput conditions.
Develop and maintain data pipelines for real-time and batch financial data processing.
Collaborate with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure system health and uptime.

5+ years of backend engineering experience in a production environment.
Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, Rust or Node.js).
Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs.
Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Familiarity with financial systems (trading, payments, risk, or accounting systems).
Hands-on experience with defi services.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
