Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance front-end and back-end applications supporting Futures and Options trading workflows.
- Modernize, uplift, and re-architect legacy technology platforms.
- Build scalable, secure, and maintainable services, APIs, and user interfaces.
- Collaborate with global technology teams, business users, and production support partners.
- Apply software-development lifecycle practices including code reviews, testing, documentation, and release management.
- Diagnose and resolve complex application, data, and production issues.
- Provide Level 3 production support and participate in production releases.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.
- 1+ year of professional software-development experience for Analyst-level candidates or 3+ years for Associate-level candidates.
- Strong foundation in object-oriented programming, preferably Java or another object-oriented language.
- Understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Familiarity with software-development lifecycle practices, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
- Experience with or familiarity with Git, CI/CD practices and tooling, Java concurrency, multithreading, dependency injection, Java Collections, and RESTful API development is preferred.
- Experience developing web user interfaces with Angular or React and working knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript or TypeScript, and Node.js is preferred.
- Interest in financial markets, electronic trading, or Futures and Options products is preferred.
- Experience with distributed systems, high-volume data, or business-critical production applications is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate across global teams and progressively take ownership of deliverables.
