Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Python and Java services supporting data flow and analytics pipelines.
- Develop and orchestrate containerized applications using Docker and Podman.
- Write Python and Bash scripts to automate builds, tests, and deployments.
- Contribute to GitLab CI and Jenkins continuous integration pipelines.
- Integrate software components into larger system architectures and support cross-domain data workflows.
- Troubleshoot runtime issues in containerized environments.
- Execute assigned software engineering tasks, analyze designs, and develop and run software tests.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, procedures, and status updates.
- Communicate with customers, stakeholders, systems engineers, and multidisciplinary teammates to establish requirements and describe deliverables.
- Identify technical risks, propose solutions, and suggest process or application improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required; a master's degree is preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in Software Engineering or a related field is required.
- Fundamental understanding of software development and infrastructure concepts.
- Basic proficiency in Python and Java for scripting and application development.
- Familiarity with Docker, Podman, and Git.
- Ability to learn new programming languages and technologies quickly.
- Ability to document technical information and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary, customer-driven environment and manage competing tasks.
- Applicants may be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
