Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and evolution of IT Operations platforms spanning observability, event management, and service management.
  • Define enterprise-wide adoption patterns for Dynatrace, ServiceNow, and Stonebranch.
  • Integrate operational tooling to provide end-to-end visibility, correlation, and actionable service insights.
  • Embed observability and operational requirements into platform and application design.
  • Serve as the senior technical authority for operational platforms and lead complex investigations and systemic improvements.
  • Design intelligent alerting and event-management strategies to reduce noise and improve signal quality.
  • Evolve incident, problem, and change practices through ServiceNow workflows, integrations, and automation.
  • Develop self-healing capabilities to reduce manual intervention and support proactive and predictive operations.
  • Collaborate with engineering, SRE, and operations teams on reliability targets, service health metrics, and operational standards.
  • Mentor engineers and operations teams in observability, reliability engineering, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in operations or platform engineering.
  • Hands-on expertise in monitoring, application development, and performance tuning.
  • 10+ years of experience mentoring and coaching technical teams, including conflict resolution and collaboration.
  • 10+ years of experience presenting complex technical concepts to diverse audiences verbally and in writing.
  • 10+ years of experience in road mapping, blueprinting, and risk assessment using emerging technologies.
  • Technical certifications such as application development, Network/Cisco, Linux, or Windows certifications are preferred.
