Base Salary
$122k - $173k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build customer proofs of concept and translate customer use cases and requirements into IPU-based solutions.
- Serve as a technical resource for customers developing data centers and AI infrastructure, including performance analysis.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, workshops, and other customer content.
- Support the full IPU lifecycle, including board and platform bring-up, low-level device initialization, driver and kernel configuration, system management, testing, debugging, and verification.
- Define systems implementation and integration solutions across hardware, firmware, and software for network, storage, and AI workloads.
- Manage customer feature request processes, enable solutions, and debug customer issues while coordinating with internal and external partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- 4+ years of combined experience with networking fundamentals, including NICs, hardware accelerators, switching, or modern data-center protocols.
- 4+ years of experience with system software stacks and hardware-software interactions across platform firmware, device drivers, the Linux kernel, and user-space application performance.
- 4+ years of customer-facing systems engineering and debugging experience involving platform, computing, memory, and network components.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently across diverse stakeholders.
- Preferred: knowledge of Ethernet products and enterprise and data-center ecosystems, cloud service providers, data-center workloads, RDMA, collectives, and AI benchmarking.
- Preferred: experience with NIC hardware and software stacks, including configuration, testing, or troubleshooting.
- Preferred: experience with GCC, Git, GitHub, RPM, Make files, Shell Scripting, Docker, and Jenkins.
