Base Salary
$223k - $259k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale distributed systems powering Ditto’s edge-to-cloud capabilities.
- Lead development of Rust services integrated with Kubernetes and modern cloud environments.
- Partner with leadership to shape system architecture, team practices, and engineering culture.
- Solve real-time synchronization, scalability, and fault-tolerance challenges in heterogeneous network environments.
- Mentor and collaborate with engineers across the organization.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with a Senior or Staff-level track record.
- Experience delivering software at scale, ideally at a FAANG company or major cloud provider.
- Strong Rust experience, or equivalent systems-language experience in C++ or Go with willingness to learn Rust.
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes, cloud-native architectures, and distributed systems.
- Proven ability to deliver in high-scale production environments.
- Must be based in the United States.
