Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, resilient hybrid cloud services in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Use AI-assisted coding tools to write and review infrastructure code, scripts, and documentation.
- Build and deploy task-specific agents for on-call triage, onboarding validation, upgrade pre-checks, and capacity forecasting.
- Define guardrails, human approval requirements, and audit trails for agentic production workflows.
- Optimize service performance, resource utilization, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement security and compliance controls across on-premise and public cloud environments.
- Set up monitoring and alerting and respond to incidents using AI-assisted diagnosis while retaining human ownership of root-cause, failover, and communication decisions.
Requirements
- Hands-on daily experience with AI coding assistants such as Copilot, Claude Code, or equivalent.
- Scripting and infrastructure automation experience with tools such as Go, Shell, Ansible, or Python.
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong debugging skills for complex, large-scale systems and a focus on resilience and delivery quality.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a willingness to continuously develop AI engineering fluency.
- Experience building or deploying LLM-based agents or tools is preferred, including tool calling, retrieval-augmented log or metric correlation, or intent classification.
- Software development experience in Java or Rust is preferred.
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Kafka, or Redis and understanding of AI governance, model risk, or LLM failure modes are preferred.
- Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, Confluent Certified Administrator for Apache Kafka, Elastic Certified Engineer or Elasticsearch Administrator, and Redis Certified Administrator or Redis Certified Developer.
