Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Implement Entrust’s private cloud and Infrastructure-as-a-Service strategy in partnership with infrastructure architects and domain leads.
- Build self-service networking capabilities and expand platform services to compute, storage, load balancing, and related infrastructure domains.
- Develop reusable automation modules, infrastructure templates, service blueprints, provisioning workflows, and orchestration processes.
- Create API-based integrations across virtualization, networking, storage, security, service management, and approval platforms.
- Establish Git-based development, testing, release, rollback, and operational practices for infrastructure automation.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code, Network as Code, automated provisioning, service catalog, onboarding, and infrastructure consumption capabilities.
- Evaluate infrastructure platforms and improve automation, self-service, scalability, security, auditability, resilience, and compliance.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, troubleshooting, documentation, implementation guidance, and contributions to the future platform roadmap.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, network engineering, software engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 10 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, cloud engineering, Infrastructure DevOps, or infrastructure automation.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of routing, switching, segmentation, firewalls, load balancing, DNS, IPAM, and security policy enforcement.
- Experience designing and building automation-driven infrastructure services, private cloud, internal IaaS, platform engineering, or self-service infrastructure capabilities.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, or equivalent infrastructure automation tools.
- Experience automating provisioning workflows for networking, compute, storage, or security services and integrating platforms through APIs.
- Strong understanding of Git-based change control, CI/CD pipelines, code review, testing, and release management for infrastructure automation.
- Experience with Network as Code, network automation, or policy-driven network provisioning.
- Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere or a similar enterprise virtualization platform and enterprise storage such as NetApp.
- Ability to integrate infrastructure, service management, orchestration, and automation platforms and troubleshoot complex systems.
- Experience supporting multiple internal product teams, tenants, or business units in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Ability to lead technical implementation across multiple teams without direct management authority and communicate effectively with technical stakeholders.
Benefits
- US base pay is listed at $124,026-$181,905 per year, with eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive plan; Canadian pay is listed at $108,000-$158,000 per year.
