Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain cloud application and platform solutions.
- Lead technical architecture, technology choices, design discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
- Develop hands-on software using object-oriented and modern languages such as C#, Java, and Go.
- Drive AI integration across products, including Generative AI, NLP, predictive analytics, and large language models.
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure using major cloud providers and infrastructure-as-code technologies.
- Create automated test scenarios and scalable test automation strategies integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, and improve system reliability and code quality.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with product management, architecture, and global cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of professional experience is required; the qualifications also state 8+ years in software development and testing.
- At least 3 years of experience with cloud-native SaaS applications.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience; a master's degree is preferred.
- Experience with C#, Java, Go, software design patterns, RESTful APIs, OpenAPI, RDBMS, and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation, and cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with event-driven architecture and technologies such as Kafka, Pulsar, and SNS/SQS.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, and TestNG.
- Experience with AI/ML initiatives, Generative AI, large language models, and cloud-based AI solutions is preferred or advantageous.
- Understanding of security best practices and frameworks; knowledge of Snyk is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, presentation, facilitation, and cross-time-zone collaboration skills.
