Responsibilities
- Embed with enterprise customers to understand workflows, AI use cases, and integration challenges.
- Lead technical discovery, architecture, POCs, pilots, production launches, and customer go-lives.
- Build and deploy AI voice assistants, communications integrations, and custom implementations using Telnyx APIs, WebRTC, and related technologies.
- Deploy and operate LLM gateways, model-serving stacks, routing strategies, observability, cost controls, logging, and guardrails in customer environments.
- Design prompt and retrieval-augmented generation pipelines and evaluation harnesses for Hebrew and English use cases.
- Build production observability with metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerting.
- Troubleshoot complex integration issues, remove blockers, and maintain customer ownership until solutions are live and stable.
- Create technical documentation and runbooks for maintainable handoff.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape the roadmap based on customer insights from Israel.
Requirements
- CS degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience building and shipping production software.
- Proficiency in Python, Node.js/TypeScript, and Go.
- Experience with production LLM systems, including rate limits, retries, streaming, token accounting, cost attribution, and concurrency failure modes.
- Experience deploying containerized services on Kubernetes with secrets management, configuration, and upgrades.
- Experience with production observability using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Graylog, ELK, or equivalent tools.
- High-concurrency experience with Kafka, message queues, or event streams.
- Experience building APIs, including OpenAPI, REST or GraphQL design, authentication, rate limiting, versioning, and idempotency.
- Exposure to SIP, WebRTC, or real-time voice and messaging systems.
- Customer-facing engineering experience, including technical discovery, executive presentations, whiteboarding, troubleshooting, and escalations.
- Strong independent engineering judgment and root-cause analysis skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Hebrew.
- Based in Tel Aviv or willing to relocate, with authorization to work in Israel or eligibility for sponsorship.
- Preferred experience includes AI voice assistants, STT/TTS, LLM evaluation, LLM gateways, open-weight models, inference serving, SQL, ETL, CI/CD automation, telecom or CPaaS, sovereign or on-premises deployments, Israeli regulatory frameworks, IAM, encryption, and audit logging.
