Responsibilities

Analyze technology trends in the payments and fintech industries and adjacent sectors.
Convert concepts into proof-of-concept and MVP software implementations within deadlines.
Participate in and improve software lifecycle activities including design, coding, documentation, testing, and support.
Produce design notes, demo scripts, and handover documentation.
Collaborate with technical, product, operational, internal, and external stakeholders.
Maintain the team's internal knowledge base and uphold quality standards.
Work extended hours or participate in on-call support when required.

Diploma or bachelor's degree in ICT or related professional qualifications.
Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile/lean methodologies.
Proficiency in software development using more than one listed language across frontend, backend, or real-time development.
Knowledge of Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL relational database management systems.
Strong analytical, organizational, time-management, communication, and English writing skills.
Ability to work effectively in collaborative, ambiguous, iterative, and exploratory environments.
Willingness to work extended hours and be on call when required.
Experience writing software for the financial or payments industry is preferred.
Experience with modern architecture patterns, streaming technologies, scripting languages, DevOps tools, containerization, or cloud environments is a bonus.
