Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, configuration, and implementation of software applications.
- Act as a subject-matter expert and primary point of contact for the project.
- Collaborate with and manage teams, make team decisions, and contribute to cross-team technical decisions.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines and large-scale data transformations using PySpark.
- Provide solutions to problems across immediate and multiple teams.
- Mentor junior team members and coordinate cross-functional project efforts.
- Improve development processes and enforce quality and best-practice standards.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in PySpark.
- Proficiency in PySpark for distributed data processing and large-scale data transformations.
- Strong knowledge of data pipeline development and optimization techniques.
- Ability to write efficient, maintainable, and scalable PySpark code.
- Familiarity with integrating PySpark applications with cloud platforms and data storage solutions.
- Understanding of debugging, testing, and performance tuning in PySpark environments.
- 15 years of full-time education.
