Responsibilities
- Design, develop, customize, configure, and support Windchill PLM solutions.
- Enhance Windchill modules including PDMLink, ProjectLink, MPMLink, Change Management, workflows, lifecycle management, classification, and access control.
- Develop custom solutions and integrations using Java, JSP, Windchill APIs, Info*Engine, REST APIs, and Web Services.
- Build and maintain integrations between Windchill and ERP, CAD, MDM, and engineering systems.
- Manage source code, deployments, and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Jenkins.
- Drive unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Provide L2/L3 support, troubleshoot complex issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Support releases, upgrades, patches, system enhancements, platform stability, and performance.
- Create technical documentation and contribute to internal PLM capability development.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Windchill PLM development, customization, integration, and support.
- Strong expertise in Windchill modules, workflows, lifecycle management, classification, and access control.
- Hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, JSP, JavaScript, XML, SQL, Windchill APIs, Info*Engine, REST APIs, and Web Services.
- Experience developing workflows, listeners, validators, form processors, data utilities, schedulers, and UI components in Windchill.
- Experience integrating Windchill with ERP, CAD, and other enterprise systems in manufacturing or engineering environments.
- Understanding of PLM/PDM concepts, software architecture, SDLC, and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience with GitLab, Jenkins, version control, and CI/CD practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Windchill certifications, upgrade or migration experience, and automotive or manufacturing industry exposure are preferred.
- Preferred qualification: BE, BTech, ME, or MTech.
