Responsibilities
- Lead application deployment and configuration in on-premises and cloud environments for enterprise clients.
- Visit client sites to install, configure, troubleshoot, and customize deployments.
- Write, debug, and modify production-like code under time constraints using full-stack technologies.
- Collaborate with clients to understand workflows, gather requirements, and implement tailored solutions.
- Provide technical guidance, training, and post-deployment support to clients.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues while maintaining availability and security.
- Identify improvement opportunities and share client insights with the core engineering team.
- Document deployment processes, customizations, and client-specific configurations.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Rust or Node.js and React for full-stack development and customization.
- Experience with SQLite, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar embedded databases.
- Experience building customer-facing AI applications.
- Proven experience in software deployment, configuration, and customer-facing technical roles such as solutions engineering, professional services, or forward-deployed engineering.
- Four to five years of software engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with on-premises and cloud deployments, including AWS, Azure, or hybrid environments.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively to client sites nationwide.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience includes legal technology, enterprise SaaS, regulated industries, reactive frameworks, microservices architecture, containerization, and scalable high-availability systems.
