Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs.
- Use Azure cloud services for deployment and scalability.
- Conduct testing and debugging and resolve software defects promptly.
- Contribute to code reviews, architectural decisions, and system design.
- Write high-quality, efficient, and reliable code.
- Optimize backend performance and scalability for large data volumes.
- Build secure, crypto-first products supporting payments, transfers, and traditional financial activity.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams across North America, Europe, and India.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of professional experience as a backend Software Engineer, preferably in fintech or crypto.
- Strong proficiency in backend programming languages such as C#, Java, Scala, or Go.
- Knowledge of security concepts including AuthN, AuthZ, SAML, API security, and encryption.
- Understanding of crypto concepts including blockchains, RPCs, and self-custody wallets.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
