Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Define and influence the direction of a small team within the Command and Control Software organization.
- Prototype and deploy algorithms for global and local path planning and trajectory optimization.
- Develop high-performance software for real-time command and control systems.
- Design and implement planners and decision-making systems for optimal routing.
- Analyze system performance using simulations and statistical techniques.
- Customize algorithms for mission-critical use cases.
- Integrate path planning technologies into the command and control software stack.
- Translate technical progress into actionable insights for stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proficiency in algorithm design, software development, and mathematical modeling with C/C++, Python, and Matlab.
- Strong knowledge of path planning techniques such as A*, RRT, and PRM.
- Experience in guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) and trajectory optimization.
- Solid understanding of applied mathematics including linear algebra and optimization.
- Knowledge of vehicle dynamics and control theory for autonomous platforms.
- Familiarity with handling large-scale geospatial data within distributed architectures.
- Background in machine learning for planning and decision-making.
- Ability to engineer robust systems for planning under uncertainty.
- Demonstrated ability to work across development lifecycles.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
