Sr FullStack Developer
TransUnionResponsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain cloud-based enterprise applications and shared platform capabilities.
- Participate in requirements analysis, architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Translate business requirements and data models into scalable, secure, resilient, and high-performing technical solutions.
- Design and develop shared services, frameworks, APIs, and infrastructure components used across products.
- Provide technical leadership through code reviews, design reviews, mentoring, pair programming, and software engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex issues, support incident response and root cause analysis, and improve platform reliability.
- Integrate internal and third-party services with architects, product teams, platform engineers, and operations teams.
- Improve scalability, performance, reliability, observability, availability, disaster recovery, and operational excellence.
- Participate in technical roadmaps, deployment and release activities, and an on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Five or more years of professional software development experience in enterprise environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related STEM field preferred; equivalent professional experience may substitute for the degree.
- Experience across the software development lifecycle and independently analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues.
- Ability to mentor engineers and conduct effective code and design reviews.
- Advanced English proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing.
- Proficiency in Java and experience developing enterprise applications.
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, cloud-native services, and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience using Git and modern version-control practices.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Preferred experience with Scala, JavaScript, Python, Bash, NoSQL databases, modern web application and user-interface development, DevOps practices, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automated testing, configuration management, distributed systems, microservices, Hadoop, Spark, MapReduce, SRE, observability, monitoring, logging, distributed tracing, high availability, disaster recovery, Kubernetes, containerization, cloud infrastructure automation, or Google Cloud professional certifications.
