Responsibilities
- Gather requirements and specify, design, develop, deploy, and support software solutions for consulting, product, and practice-area teams.
- Build scalable full-stack web applications using Python, React or Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Design and ship enterprise-grade GenAI features using LLM APIs, retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, and agentic workflows.
- Build modular AI services, tool and function calling, structured outputs, schema validation, evaluation systems, logging, tracing, monitoring, and cost controls.
- Apply responsible AI practices including prompt-injection defenses, PII and confidentiality handling, output validation, fallbacks, and audit trails.
- Collaborate with consulting and cross-functional teams on requirements, technical solutioning, delivery approaches, stakeholder communication, and project execution.
- Provide technical recommendations, support, quality checks, mentoring, training, and contributions to team content and intellectual property.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science engineering/technology or equivalent.
- At least 4–6 years of end-to-end web application or tool development experience in a commercial services or consulting organization.
- Hands-on experience building high-performance, scalable web applications with Python, Django, Flask, or FastAPI; React or Angular; TypeScript; HTML5; and CSS3.
- Experience with SQL and PostgreSQL, object-oriented programming, design patterns, responsive UI, and unit testing frameworks such as Mockito, JUnit, or Jest.
- Experience building real-user applications on LLM APIs, preferably Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic, or an equivalent service.
- Experience with an agent or orchestration framework such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, DSPy, or an equivalent in-house framework.
- Experience implementing tool or function calling, structured output, schema validation, error handling, and AI output evaluation or observability.
- Working knowledge of Git, Unix command-line tools, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and DevOps tools.
- Preferred experience includes Docker, microservices, AI workload deployment, Model Context Protocol, multi-agent systems, MongoDB, charting libraries, wireframing, React Native, Ionic, and open-source or technical community contributions.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, stakeholder collaboration, initiative, and mentoring skills.
