Responsibilities
- Build and manage technical relationships with assigned partners and partner account teams.
- Drive incremental Okta solution revenue through strategic partners and their go-to-market strategies.
- Develop partner-domain expertise and thought leadership, including identifying expansion opportunities.
- Gather and translate partner feedback to help influence the Okta product roadmap.
- Deliver partner technical training, workshops, product demonstrations, and best-practice guidance.
- Answer partner technical questions and support partner centers of excellence.
- Maintain expertise in current and emerging Okta products and technologies.
- Provide technical oversight and assistance throughout partner sales processes, including RFP responses.
- Travel up to 25% for partner, Okta, and industry events.
Requirements
- 5+ years of pre-sales engineering experience.
- Experience implementing Okta, Auth0, or both.
- Understanding of the IAM and IDaaS competitive landscape.
- Experience supporting or enabling partner ecosystems or alliances in cloud security, identity, or cybersecurity.
- Strong technical presentation and communication skills.
- Experience with at least one network security protocol, including OAuth, OAuth2, SAML, LDAP, or OIDC.
- Knowledge of web, mobile, backend, or IP-based real-time communications development.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or a comparable field is preferred.
