Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy OutSystems applications supporting business processes and workflows.
- Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications and user stories.
- Customize OutSystems components, modules, and integrations to meet project requirements.
- Develop data models, business logic, and user interfaces using OutSystems visual development tools.
- Conduct unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with quality assurance and testing teams to validate application functionality, performance, and security.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and project team members.
- Integrate external APIs and services and stay current with OutSystems platform updates and industry practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5–7 years of hands-on experience developing applications with the OutSystems platform.
- Proficiency in OutSystems visual modeling, logic flows, data modeling, and user interface design.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, relational databases, SQL, and database design principles.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and practices, with familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Experience integrating external APIs and services in OutSystems.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks, performance optimization techniques, and DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
- OutSystems certifications, such as Associate Developer or Professional Developer, and previous leadership or senior developer experience are preferred.
