Responsibilities
- Solve ambiguous business problems and map them to elegant technical solutions.
- Use object-oriented concepts, algorithms, and data structures to build systems at Amazon scale.
- Design, launch, and re-architect multi-tier systems handling large amounts of data.
- Develop simple and extensible code in a fast-paced environment.
- Create features and functionality that improve FBA inventory management, seller behavior, supply-chain efficiency, and fulfillment outcomes.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship design or architecture experience involving design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 3 years of video game industry experience supporting title development, release, or live operations.
- At least 3 years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- At least 4 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems.
- Bachelor's degree or above in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience carrying new design concepts through exploration, development, and deployment or mass production.
- Preferred experience with the full software development lifecycle, distributed or scalable systems, web services, high-volume transaction applications, computer architecture, retail or e-commerce research, or mentoring and leading engineering teams.
