Responsibilities
- Own the long-term performance and reliability of AI use cases deployed across international government agencies.
- Oversee the end-to-end health and full-stack integration of AI platforms, including APIs, user interfaces, backend systems, and AI cores.
- Build automated monitoring for model performance and data drift across geographically distributed environments.
- Manage technical lifecycles within diverse regulatory and compliance frameworks.
- Lead production incident response and develop guardrails to prevent recurring issues.
- Translate technical performance metrics into clear insights for senior international government officials.
- Partner with Engineering and ML teams to incorporate field learnings into future technical architecture and use-case decisions.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in a high-impact technical role such as SRE, Forward Deployed Engineer, or MLOps, with public-sector experience.
- Familiarity with international government security standards and sovereign AI deployment complexities.
- Experience maintaining production-grade applications and understanding the full request lifecycle across frontend, API, backend, and AI layers.
- Proficiency in coding and modern AI infrastructure, including Kubernetes, vector databases, agentic development, and LLM observability tools.
- Ability to communicate system performance degradation and remediation plans to high-ranking government officials.
- Strong ownership of production deployments and reliability in environments where failures may affect public safety or privacy.
