Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Apache NiFi dataflows for application, system, and data integrations.
- Implement routing, transformation, enrichment, filtering, and orchestration patterns.
- Use NiFi processors, custom scripts, and templates to create reusable integration components.
- Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and performance-tune NiFi flows in production environments.
- Manage high availability, backpressure, load balancing, versioning, configuration, and lifecycle processes for NiFi clusters.
- Apply security, data governance, auditability, authentication, authorization, encryption, and sensitive-data handling practices.
- Participate in third-level on-call support and guide user-team developers in using Apache NiFi.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of Apache NiFi experience is required.
- Strong hands-on experience with Apache NiFi flow design, templates, processors, and NiFi Registry.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns and dataflow architecture.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML/XSLT transformation, and Python, Bash, or Groovy scripting.
- Experience working in a cloud environment, with AWS preferred.
- Familiarity with Kafka, message queues, event streaming, and data pipelines.
- Understanding of certificates, authentication, authorization, and encrypted flows.
- Proficiency in Linux, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and monitoring.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for distributed flow environments.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
