Base Salary

$55k - $187k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop AI-enabled software solutions for internal technology and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Build scalable applications and services using programming languages, frameworks, and software engineering methods.
  • Integrate machine learning tools, automate workflows, and support human review of model outputs.
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs, user stories, and functional specifications.
  • Write, review, and refine maintainable code aligned with coding standards and application lifecycle practices.
  • Test, debug, and troubleshoot software components to resolve defects and improve reliability.
  • Evaluate data patterns and system behavior to inform solution improvements and implementation decisions.
  • Contribute to API design, microservices development, and cloud-native architecture for enterprise applications.
  • Review junior team members’ deliverables and provide guidance on technical methods, quality controls, and problem resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand priorities and adapt delivery as requirements change.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or qualifying equivalent specialized training and progressively responsible Software Engineering experience in lieu of missing college years.
  • At least 2 years of experience.
  • Preference for study in Accounting, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Computer Systems Analysis, Data Processing, Analytics, Data Science, Finance, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems.
  • AI engineering skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Experience applying machine learning methods to business problems and workflows.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, testing, and code review practices.
  • Ability to analyze data, collaborate across teams, mentor peers, and manage ambiguity.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $55,000–$151,470, or $55,000–$187,000 for Washington state residents; eligible employees may also receive an annual discretionary bonus.
  • Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, holiday pay, vacation, and personal and family sick leave.
  • Up to 20% travel is required.
