Base Salary
$198k - $273k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement next-generation compute and data platform capabilities focused on distributed systems.
- Operate and maintain cloud-based, highly available, distributed, and scalable systems at scale.
- Support engineering teams throughout requirements gathering, design, development, testing, rollout, and production support.
- Identify technical gaps, propose platform solutions, and run proof-of-concept experiments.
- Collaborate with Product, UX, IT, engineers, and product managers to influence the roadmap and develop platform capabilities.
- Stay current with data technology trends.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building and operating cloud-based, highly available, distributed, and scalable systems with large amounts of data.
- 4+ years of experience as a CKA or CKD.
- Experience operating Kubernetes clusters.
- Experience provisioning and operating cloud-native tools at scale.
- Experience managing infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with AWS, including RDS, EC2, S3, and IAM.
- Direct hands-on experience in a FedRAMP-compliant environment is preferred.
- US citizenship and eligibility to work on federal government projects requiring FedRAMP authorization are required.
