Responsibilities
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient software for complex applications and systems.
- Design, develop, deploy, operate, and maintain scalable, reliable, and maintainable software solutions.
- Lead execution and delivery of features and projects while managing priorities, deadlines, and quality.
- Participate in architectural and design reviews with engineers and stakeholders.
- Review code and provide technical feedback aligned with software quality and maintainability standards.
- Build testable software, define and execute tests, and automate testing using tools such as JUnit and Selenium.
- Monitor service health, investigate incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventative improvements.
- Own software delivery from product requirements through design, development, testing, continuous deployment, and production operation.
- Document features, enhancements, fixes, and training materials.
- Mentor junior colleagues and collaborate with product management and engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 12+ years of professional software development experience.
- Deep expertise in one or more of C++, C#, .NET, Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Extensive experience with software development practices and design patterns.
- Proficiency with GitHub and JIRA.
- Understanding of cloud technologies and DevOps principles.
- Preferred experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, test automation frameworks, and accessible solution development.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
- Strong customer empathy, communication, interpersonal, and collaborative teamwork skills.
