Responsibilities
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient software code.
- Design, develop, deploy, operate, and maintain complex software applications and systems.
- Manage execution and delivery of features and projects, including priorities, deadlines, and quality.
- Participate in architectural design and design reviews to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Review code and provide feedback that maintains high standards for technical excellence and maintainability.
- Build testable software, define and execute tests, and automate testing using tools such as JUnit and Selenium.
- Maintain service health and quality, resolve incidents, analyze root causes, and implement preventive improvements.
- Own software delivery from product requirements through design, development, testing, continuous deployment, and production operations.
- Document features, enhancements, and fixes and contribute to training materials.
- Mentor junior colleagues and collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 12 years of professional software development experience.
- Deep expertise in one or more programming languages, such as C++, C#, .NET, Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Extensive experience with software development practices and design patterns.
- Proficiency with GitHub and JIRA.
- Understanding of cloud technologies and DevOps principles.
- Preferred experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Preferred familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and test automation frameworks.
- Preferred knowledge of agile development methodologies and accessible solution development.
- Strong customer empathy, communication, interpersonal, and collaborative teamwork skills.
