Base Salary
$225k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define technical requirements and design practical, iterative solutions aligned with product and technical goals.
- Develop, maintain, and deploy customer-facing workflows, APIs, services, and product architecture.
- Create implementation plans and deliver incremental releases from proof of concept through MVP and production.
- Automate, test, and deploy individual and team work while maintaining a high quality bar.
- Review code and technical designs, mentor developers, and support engineering skill development.
- Drive technical decision-making, scalability, maintainability, and operational improvements across the team.
- Serve as a domain expert and collaborate with product managers, team leads, and engineering managers.
Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of professional experience writing backend or data-driven software in demanding environments.
- Experience deploying production code and services to cloud-hosted environments.
- Demonstrated experience delivering incremental releases from proof of concept to MVP to production.
- Experience taking over existing codebases and continuing feature development.
- Experience leading other engineers on complex projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a demonstrated focus on engineering excellence, clean code, and knowledge sharing.
