Responsibilities

Analyze and design complex system specifications for clinical and business healthcare systems.
Develop, modify, test, maintain, install, and debug integration and interface solutions.
Perform data mapping, interface administration, code and routine development, and data interchange format design.
Resolve and escalate integration issues involving Epic Bridges, interface engines, managed file transfer, and related tools.
Provide technical consulting to application teams, vendors, and customers on integrating information technologies into clinical and business processes.
Document data policies, standards, procedures, system designs, and requirements specifications.
Improve physical designs and communicate technical requirements in both technical and user-friendly language.

BA/BS degree required.
At least five years of experience developing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and debugging Corepoint or another interface engine.
At least five years of experience developing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and debugging Epic Bridges interfaces.
Minimum two years of healthcare-environment experience preferred.
Expert knowledge in at least two integration or interoperability areas, including HL7, XML, X12, FTP, TCP/IP, APIs, web calls, managed file transfer, Epic CareEverywhere, Epic Interconnect, or Microsoft SQL.
Ability to analyze and design complex, multi-service clinical and business technical systems.
Epic certification required within six months of hire, with two test retakes allowed; other relevant industry certifications are a plus.
Knowledge of one or more clinical or business areas such as laboratory, pharmacy, health plans, ERP, OnBase, patient access, ambulatory, inpatient, Epic Security, Data Courier, or immunization administration.
Strong analytical, creative problem-solving, written, oral, interpersonal, and listening skills, with the ability to exercise independent judgment and work collaboratively.

First-shift schedule with 40 standard weekly hours.
