Responsibilities
- Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, automation, and deployment.
- Develop and enhance Splunk add-ons and backend services for data ingestion and normalization.
- Identify and resolve pre-production bottlenecks and production issues.
- Participate in product design and code reviews.
- Improve code maintainability and product diagnosability and serviceability.
- Participate in rotating on-call duties to diagnose and resolve customer issues.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
- Expertise coding in Python.
- Experience with backend frameworks such as FastAPI and SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with large language models and generative AI.
- Experience developing CI/CD systems and test automation frameworks.
- Debugging and troubleshooting skills using associated tools.
- Ability to document work for the team and communicate effectively.
- Spec Driven Development experience is an advantage.
- Openness to learning new topics and working with others.
