Responsibilities
- Validate system requirements and assist with detailed software programming specifications.
- Write, review, optimize, and support application code in collaboration with senior engineers.
- Develop, enhance, deploy, configure, customize, integrate, and support enterprise software applications.
- Create documentation and procedures for software installation and maintenance.
- Collaborate with users, developers, project managers, project teams, business analysts, and end-users to address project concerns and meet stakeholder expectations.
- Support Oracle Global Trade Management solutions, trade compliance functionality, and integrations with ERP, supply chain, and third-party applications.
- Design, develop, and consume REST and SOAP APIs and related integration technologies.
- Participate in ongoing learning, workshops, training, and knowledge sharing on emerging technologies and programming languages.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or at least 3 years of application development or application engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least 2 years of software development experience, specifically in application development engineering.
- Familiarity with Java, C++, Python, or Ruby.
- Experience with software development tools such as Git or Jenkins.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work without now or in the future requiring employment visa sponsorship.
- Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder working within the United States for compliance with regulations including ITAR formulations.
- Preferred experience with Oracle Global Trade Management, including trade compliance, business processes, and enterprise integrations.
- Preferred experience developing and supporting enterprise applications using Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Java JEE/Jakarta EE.
- Preferred experience designing, developing, and consuming REST and SOAP APIs.
- Preferred experience with CI/CD tools and processes, enterprise application architecture, software development best practices, and Agile development methodologies.
- Strong preferred analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

- The position is based at the Cleveland Headquarters office and is not hybrid or remote.
- Travel is approximately 5%.
