Base Salary
$92k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements and design through implementation, qualification, and delivery.
- Develop embedded software using real-time operating systems for flight and mission-critical systems.
- Work in Agile Scrum teams to develop software products across multiple software baselines.
- Perform embedded software integration and testing.
- Travel up to 25% as required.
Requirements
- Level 2 requires a STEM bachelor’s degree and 2 years of related engineering experience, or a STEM master’s degree and entry-level related engineering experience.
- Level 3 requires a STEM bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related engineering experience, a STEM master’s degree and 3 years of related engineering experience, or a STEM PhD and 1 year of related engineering experience.
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle and Agile software development.
- Experience with embedded system programming, software integration, and testing.
- Experience with C, C++, and Python.
- Experience with at least two of Jira, GitLab, Docker, Fortify, Coverity, or Black Duck.
- Active in-scope U.S. Government Top Secret clearance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain initial Special Program Access (SAP/PAR).
- Preferred qualifications include multithreaded software development for flight-critical, safety-critical, medical, or mission-critical applications; code-based defect identification; embedded software architecture understanding; and current SAP access.
- U.S. citizenship is required for positions requiring government clearance.
