Base Salary
$217k - $304k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner cross-functionally with product, data science, operations, and engineering teams to execute strategy for platform safety.
- Contribute to ideation, technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and product launches.
- Review code and design documents and help shape the engineering roadmap.
- Lead, coach, and mentor engineers while defining standards and best practices that improve developer workflows.
- Drive technical and product strategy, operations, architecture, and execution for moderation enforcement systems.
- Continuously innovate and improve technical and non-technical capabilities.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages, including Go, Python, Rust, or Ruby.
- BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and keep projects on schedule.
- Self-directed, innovative, action-oriented approach suited to fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
- Experience partnering effectively with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment.
- Ability to discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Applied machine learning experience for a product or business solution is preferred.
