Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, configure, optimize, and troubleshoot FNZ’s production cyber security platforms.
- Support platform upgrades, patching, lifecycle management, integrations, and operational improvements.
- Automate platform configuration and workflows using scripts, tooling, APIs, or infrastructure automation.
- Improve platform reliability, observability, telemetry pipelines, performance, and operational metrics.
- Provide engineering support during security incidents, including troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and corrective fixes.
- Collaborate with distributed engineering teams across the UK, US, APAC, and global operations.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in cyber security engineering or platform engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience operating, configuring, and supporting enterprise security platforms in production.
- Experience troubleshooting operational issues across security controls and working with distributed global engineering teams.
- Experience across several security platform domains, such as EDR/XDR, secure web gateways, proxies, WAFs, SIEM, email security, vulnerability management, and next-generation firewalls.
- Scripting or automation experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar tools.
- Experience with APIs, platform integrations, infrastructure automation or configuration management, and security tooling in cloud environments.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code, DevOps practices, cloud security platform engineering, CI/CD security integrations, or telemetry and observability tooling is beneficial.
