Responsibilities
- Develop and scale robust backend services, high-performance APIs, microservices, and React-based frontend integrations.
- Support the vision and guide engineering teams building and supporting TS&EP across strategic priorities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver the Digital Products portfolio.
- Support software development strategy using industry standards and create implementation roadmaps based on business requirements.
- Expand digital solution capabilities using data and AI to deliver automated and personalized experiences.
- Resolve delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes associated with engineering initiatives.
- Recommend technology solutions that meet the strategic needs of business partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant software development experience.
- At least 3 years as a senior software engineer working on scalable distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Python, with experience in additional programming languages.
- Experience building APIs, microservices, high-throughput distributed systems, and cloud-native applications.
- Familiarity with React.js and preferred full-stack engineering experience.
- Experience with Azure, Google Cloud, AWS, and cloud-specific PaaS/SaaS solutions.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to collaborate with global teams.
- Master’s or PhD in computer science or engineering is preferred.
