Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Playwright-based UI and end-to-end test automation.
- Validate system behavior and integrations across complete workflows.
- Perform REST API testing and API automation.
- Use Playwright locators, fixtures, browser contexts, assertions, auto-waiting, network interception, mocking, authentication, session management, parallel execution, trace viewing, and debugging.
- Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines and source-control platforms.
- Own quality outcomes and apply test design, defect lifecycle, and regression-testing strategies.
Requirements
- Require 7–8 years of overall software testing or QA experience.
- Require strong hands-on experience with Playwright automation.
- Require strong programming skills in TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Require strong understanding of Playwright concepts and strong UI and end-to-end test automation experience.
- Require REST API testing and API automation experience.
- Require experience with Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, or equivalent source-control platforms.
- Require understanding of Agile/Scrum development and testing practices.
- Require a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
