Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain Playwright end-to-end automation frameworks using page object models, custom fixtures, and network interception.
- Design and run JMeter load-testing strategies to identify backend bottlenecks and database locking issues.
- Build test suites for payment gateways, tokenization, webhooks, transaction idempotency, and 3D Secure scenarios.
- Test asynchronous Kafka integrations and real-time synchronization across access control, retail, and financial systems.
- Maintain test plans and traceability across epics, test cases, and bug reports.
- Organize smoke, sanity, and regression suites; lead defect triage; and establish release entry and exit criteria.
- Integrate Playwright and JMeter suites into the CI/CD pipeline to gate builds before deployment.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software testing and automation within a complex SaaS environment.
- Deep hands-on expertise with Playwright and TypeScript, including page object models, fixtures, and assertions.
- Experience configuring and analyzing distributed load tests with JMeter.
- Strong experience testing payment gateways and financial workflows such as billing, refunds, and subscriptions.
- Experience using AI coding assistants to generate and maintain automated scripts while controlling accuracy and flakiness.
- Solid understanding of testing RESTful APIs and asynchronous messaging systems.
- Preferred: experience with mobile test automation frameworks for Flutter apps.
- Preferred: familiarity with fitness, gym management, or POS retail software.
- Preferred: knowledge of PCI-DSS compliance and its impact on software testing and data handling.
