Responsibilities

  • Architect, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, microservices, and integration systems.
  • Optimize system performance, security, and reliability for large-scale cloud applications.
  • Collaborate with developers, security teams, DevOps engineers, frontend engineers, and product managers.
  • Work with databases to support efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
  • Mentor junior developers and promote backend development best practices.
  • Drive the integration of LLMs and autonomous agents into existing systems.
  • Lead technical initiatives across multiple teams without direct authority.
  • Support seamless delivery of components to production.

Requirements

  • At least 9 years of backend development experience with exposure to full-stack development.
  • Expertise in Python or Go, with Python preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL databases.
  • Proficiency in asynchronous programming, multithreading, and performance optimization from a platform perspective.
  • Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS message queues.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
  • Proficiency with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, and ECS.
  • Understanding of AI-native tools such as LangChain and LangFuse, plus experience with AI-driven development lifecycles.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or ECS, and cloud-native architectures is preferred.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Terraform, CloudFormation, and DevOps practices is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity products such as XDR, MDR, and SOC environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with NIST and MITRE cybersecurity frameworks is preferred.
  • Strong experience with Git for version control.
  • Interest in cybersecurity and security operations.
