Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis, design, programming, debugging, and modification of commercial or end-user applications.
- Write code, complete programming tasks, and perform application testing and debugging.
- Develop production APIs and support generative-AI integrations, including LLM APIs, RAG architectures, prompt engineering, and agentic AI patterns.
- Complete technical documentation and installation and maintenance procedures.
- Interface with users and stakeholders to define system requirements and modifications.
- Develop cost estimates, budgets, and schedules as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Python, including async/await patterns, type hints, Pydantic v2, and high-performance serialization with orjson.
- Hands-on experience with LangChain, RAG architectures, LLM API integration, prompt engineering, agentic AI patterns, intent classification, and NLP pipelines.
- Preferred experience with FastAPI, MCP, JSON-RPC 2.0, REST APIs, Server-Sent Events, mTLS, OAuth2, API keys, streaming responses, and cloud-native containerized applications.
- Preferred experience gathering stakeholder requirements, debugging and modifying software, testing and troubleshooting, maintaining technical documentation, and supporting installation and maintenance procedures.
- Preferred familiarity with ChatOpenAI, token management, streaming, and agent-to-agent communication patterns.
- Candidates should be based in Austin, Texas, or the Greater Austin metropolitan area.
