Base Salary

$112k - $203k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and build software solutions for Cisco products and platforms.
  • Develop APIs, backend services, user interfaces, and distributed systems.
  • Write, debug, maintain, and support software applications and services.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers across Cisco organizations.
  • Build and manage scalable backend distributed systems and microservices.
  • Use cloud platforms, infrastructure-as-code, containers, and automation workflows to deliver software.

Requirements

  • A master’s degree with 0 years of work experience completed within the past 3 years or expected within the next 12 months, or a bachelor’s degree with 2 years of work experience under the same timing requirement.
  • Education and experience in Computer Engineering, Technology, Software Development, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go.
  • Experience writing, debugging, and maintaining code.
  • Experience building or supporting software applications or services, including APIs.
  • Familiarity with Git, Linux, core software engineering workflows, tools, and development environments.
  • Preferred experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, React, and UI/UX principles.
  • Preferred full-stack development experience with Python, Java, or JavaScript and version control using Git.
  • Preferred experience with scalable backend distributed systems, microservices, C/C++, Go, Python, or Java.
  • Preferred experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation workflows.
