Responsibilities
- Manage development and/or operation of significant aspects of the data management system.
- Oversee one or more areas of cloud infrastructure resources and supervise SRE work.
- Improve observability and prioritize operational service improvements to enhance SLOs.
- Develop direct reports and provide specialized training or coaching across the organization.
- Identify shortcomings and recommend improvements to IT security processes, systems, and procedures.
- Deliver assigned change-management, risk-management, strategic-planning, and knowledge-management outcomes.
- Analyze technical and professional problems to determine effective solutions.
- Develop product specifications and design testing procedures and standards.
Requirements
- Experience managing or operating significant aspects of a data management system.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, observability, operational service improvements, and SLOs.
- Ability to supervise others, coach colleagues, and develop direct reports.
- Ability to identify process, system, security, testing, and risk improvements.
- Ability to analyze technical problems and deliver outcomes within established systems.
