Responsibilities
- Develop test automation scripts using C#, Selenium, and Protractor.
- Enhance the automation framework and support automated smoke and regression testing in a continuous integration environment.
- Provide testing input during user-requirement refinement for new and existing product features.
- Document and review end-to-end, sanity, regression, and other test cases with project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product owners and functional analysts to clarify requirements and strengthen test coverage.
- Identify test coverage gaps, perform root-cause analysis of escaped defects, and create scenarios to address gaps.
- Perform Web API testing using Postman or other API tools and validate test results with SQL joins and subqueries.
- Execute, monitor, and analyze test results against organizational test-coverage metrics.
- Track, manage, and resolve defects using TFS and coordinate issue resolution with QA, development, and product-management teams.
- Perform functional testing where automation is not possible.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in automation testing using C#, Java, or Python.
- Experience with automation testing, C# or Java, API testing, BDD Cucumber, Selenium, Postman, REST Assured, and SQL.
- Experience testing APIs or web services with tools such as Postman.
- Good knowledge of SQL, including joins and subqueries for test-result validation.
- Experience designing test cases using various testing techniques.
- Bachelor of Engineering, MCA, or equivalent degree/experience.
- Exposure to performance-testing tools and processes such as LoadRunner, JMeter, or Visual Studio Load Test is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
