Base Salary
$170k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical lead for the Data Engineering team.
- Partner with stakeholders across functions to clarify requirements and validate outputs.
- Own and operate the self-hosted orchestration platform.
- Manage Cribl's Snowflake environment and optimize data modeling.
- Build, operate, and monitor the core data tech stack.
- Drive the dbt practice and manage warehouse cost/performance.
- Develop cloud-native services and infrastructure on AWS.
- Advance infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform.
- Mentor and grow junior and mid-level data engineers.
- Support data science and agentic initiatives with model-ready datasets.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in Snowflake, including data modeling and performance tuning.
- Demonstrated technical leadership experience as a tech lead or staff engineer.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams.
- A track record of mentoring engineers through coaching and review.
- Strong fundamentals in Python and SQL with ELT patterns experience.
- Hands-on experience with self-hosted orchestration, preferably Prefect.
- Experience with AWS and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
- Experience building cloud applications or backend services.
- Production-grade engineering practices including logging and CI/CD.
- Fluency with AI-assisted development platforms.
