Responsibilities
- Design and implement database engine systems across query compilation and optimization, distributed query execution and scheduling, and vectorized engine execution.
- Work on data security, resource management, transaction coordination, efficient storage structures, and automatic physical data optimization.
- Build systems and infrastructure that scale across Databricks’ multi-cloud data platform.
Requirements
- PhD in databases or systems.
- Passion for database systems, storage systems, distributed systems, language design, and/or performance optimization.
