Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications and RESTful APIs for a federal government client.
- Build and maintain front-end and back-end components according to Section 508 and U.S. Web Design Standards.
- Work across the full software development lifecycle within a DevSecOps framework.
- Perform code reviews, code scans, and vulnerability remediation using Fortify and Sonatype.
- Develop technical and code documentation.
- Support integration with web content management systems and public-facing web portals.
- Develop and manage application-level POA&Ms for identified vulnerabilities.
- Participate in requirements analysis and UI/UX wireframe design.
- Support the sustained availability of mission-critical government applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of full-stack or application development experience.
- Proficiency in Oracle APEX.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and service integration patterns.
- Working knowledge of Agile and DevSecOps methodologies.
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and static analysis tools.
- Understanding of Section 508 accessibility requirements.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Minimum T3 security clearance, active Secret or TS/SCI clearance, or ability to obtain the required clearance.
- Security+ certification or DoD 8570 baseline is required.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Fortify, Sonatype, BurpSuite, cloud-hosted development environments, and federal government or DoD application development.
