Base Salary
$180k - $238k/yr
Responsibilities
- Increase performance coverage and understanding of CockroachDB
- Develop workload strategies and methodologies
- Investigate performance issues and perform root cause analysis across the stack
- Perform competitive benchmarks and define performance baselines
- Guide other teams on benchmarking and performance testing methodologies
- Build automation tools and frameworks
- Translate customer workloads into automated performance tests
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a performance engineer
- At least 5 years of experience as a software engineer writing clean, idiomatic code
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
