Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy Java 17-based microservices using Spring Boot, Spring WebFlux, Project Reactor, and Micronaut.
- Build reactive, event-driven applications integrating Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Event Grid.
- Design and implement serverless applications and workflows with Azure Functions and Azure Logic Apps.
- Develop and securely integrate APIs using Azure API Management.
- Deploy and manage services on Azure App Service, Azure Spring Apps, and Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Integrate Azure PostgreSQL and Cosmos DB data services and implement caching with Azure Redis Cache.
- Apply CI/CD practices for automated builds and Azure deployments using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Ensure application reliability, scalability, monitoring, and observability in cloud-native environments.
- Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to implement design patterns and deliver Azure-based solutions.
- Apply generative AI, agentic AI, prompt engineering, and AI evaluation concepts to enterprise solution delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum 7.5 years of professional experience is required; additional posting content states a minimum of 12 years.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or 15 years of full-time education.
- Strong proficiency in Java 17, Spring Boot, Micronaut, Spring WebFlux, and Project Reactor.
- Experience developing microservices-based, reactive, event-driven, and real-time processing applications.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Event Grid.
- Experience with Azure App Service, Azure Spring Apps, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure API Management, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, and Azure Redis Cache.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes, cloud-native security practices, and API design standards.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, teamwork, and ability to adopt new Azure services and frameworks.
- Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Developer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Associate are preferred.
- Knowledge of generative AI, agentic AI, prompt engineering, and AI evaluation frameworks is expected.
