Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure, performant, and scalable RESTful APIs.
- Implement and maintain decoupled, business-oriented microservices.
- Integrate applications through internal and external APIs.
- Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, software architecture, and business teams.
- Apply versioning, documentation, and API testing best practices.
- Identify and resolve performance, security, and availability issues.
- Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement sessions.
- Document services using Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Ensure compliance with quality guidelines and corporate standards.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of backend development experience.
- Experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Solid experience developing REST APIs and practical knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server databases.
- Experience using Git for version control.
- Experience with Docker containers.
- Basic knowledge of API security, including OAuth2, JWT, authentication, and authorization.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP is desirable.
- Experience with Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus messaging and events.
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD, design patterns such as Circuit Breaker and API Gateway, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with monitoring and logging using ELK, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Foundational understanding of programming concepts, software design, and software development principles.
- Ability to collaborate with software engineers and stakeholders and work with increasing independence.
