Base Salary
$230k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the approach to AI and agentic security, including guardrails for access to cloud and data.
- Publish and drive adoption of AI-security standards across engineering teams.
- Manage the detection platform (Panther) and ensure high-signal detections.
- Lead incident-response readiness and coordinate real incident responses.
- Act as a senior security resource for cloud security and security reviews.
- Mentor teammates and set standards for detection authoring and code review.
- Build security automation to enhance team efficiency.
- Participate in architecture reviews and threat modeling for high-risk designs.
Requirements
- 8+ years in security and software engineering with hands-on experience in AWS.
- Experience with containerized workloads (EKS) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
- Depth in AI and agentic security, including securing LLM applications.
- Experience in threat detection engineering and incident-response planning.
- Ability to write production code in Python, Go, or TypeScript.
- Strong writing and communication skills for publishing standards and explaining designs.
- Working knowledge of SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance requirements.
- Experience mentoring and developing other engineers.
