Responsibilities
- Own product development from ideation and architecture through implementation, testing, and continuous deployment.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to integrate and deliver features.
- Lead the design and implementation of RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations.
- Optimize applications for low latency, high availability, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Conduct code reviews, write automated tests, and maintain high code quality.
- Identify and resolve backend bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues.
- Contribute to technical strategy and architecture while driving engineering excellence across the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong expertise in Node.js, React, and TypeScript.
- Strong hands-on coding skills and experience building scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems.
- Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and modern development practices.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Experience in fintech, payments, or financial services is desirable.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP is desirable.
- Experience with microservices or event-driven architectures is desirable.
